Rachael and David O’Brien’s popular Bed and Breakfast is now entering it’s third season. It was opened in July 2002 and it’s idyllic location in the centre of Huelgoat, overlooking both the lake and the ‘Moulin du Chaos’ combined with it’s proximity to the channel port of Roscoff, make it an ideal place to take a holiday.

The refurbishment of this property (formerly an office of the local Notaire) has been done to the highest standard: accommodation comprises 4 en-suite luxury bedrooms, elegant guest’s lounge with separate breakfast room.

Each bedroom is furnished to high standards with a delightful view from each window, comfortable beds (both twin and double), with bedside lights and storage space. Towels and toiletries are provided in the bathrooms which are furnished with toilet, basin, shower and razor points. Tea and coffee is available during the day. The guest’s lounge provides amenities to occupy an evening quietly, or with friends.

The family bedroom is able to accommodate up to 5 people in comfort (cot available upon request). Supplementary beds in any of our twin/double rooms are always available. Having 2 young children ourselves, we understand the needs of families and have facilities to enable families to enjoy their stay with us.

Huelgoat

The pretty town of Huelgoat is situated the edge of a 15 hectare lake and a forest of 600 hectares in the middle of the Parc Nationale d’Armorique.

Local information in the form of tourist brochures and local knowledge is provided by your hosts.

The area is surrounded by folklore and history – with many remarkable and beautiful natural features. Caves, underground rivers, forest and grottos are easily accessed direct from the town centre. Footpaths suitable for walkers, cyclists and runners plus many horse riding routes allow the visitor to explore the local scenery.

The fixed price per room includes a full continental breakfast buffet and is based on 2 people sharing a room. Assistance is always given to guests wishing to enhance their stay by reserving tables at local restaurants, organising or booking outings or generally helping break down the language barriers!

English, French and Italian are the languages spoken by your hosts.

Prices start from 50 euros per night bed and breakfast.
